Passion Play Practice

Under the direction of Mary Ann Perez, the Delta Area Catholic Churches will once again present The Passion of Christ Play on Palm Sunday. We are in need of actors, stage crew, lighting crew and others to help with the play. All interested persons are asked to attend the practices every Sunday at 5pm at the parish hall in Edcouch.

Bajo la dirección de Mary Ann Perez, las Iglesias Católicas de Area Delta presentarán una vez más: La Pasión de Cristo Obra el Domingo de Ramos. Necesitamos actores, equipo de escena, equipo de iluminación y otros para ayudar con la obra. Living Eucharistic Lives

Join us on March 6 and 7, 2023 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in one of the CCD Classrooms in Edcouch as we "break open" the Mass to explore how the celebration of the Eucharist connects to our daily life and how it transforms us into the Body of Christ. As the Body of Christ, what are we called to be, how are we called to act, and what are we sent to do? As Pope Leo the Great wrote, and Pope Francis quotes often, "Our participation in the Body and Blood of Christ has no other end than to make us become that which we eat." The presenter will be Sister Leota Roesch from San Antonio, TX. The two classes will be offered in English.

Adult Confirmation Classes

The Adult Confirmation Class meets every Monday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the religious education classrooms in Edcouch.

Penance Service for Children Making their
First Confession

A Penance Service will be held on Thursday, March 2nd at 6:30pm at St. Theresa Church in Edcouch. The children preparing for their first confession are required to attend along with their parents.

Meeting for Youth Confirmation Candidates

and their Parents

There will be a meeting for all Youth Confirmation Candidates and their parents on Thursday, March 9th at 6:30pm at the parish hall in Edcouch. The Confirmation retreat will be discussed along with their next fundraiser.

Quinceanera's

Any young lady planning on celebrating her Quinceanera at St. Theresa or Our Lady of Guadalupe are required to register with the parish secretary at the parish office one year prior to the celebration. Other requirements for a Quinceanera are:

1. The Quinceañera's Family must be registered parishioners or live within the parish boundaries of St. Theresa and/or Our Lady of Guadalupe.

2. The Quinceañera and her parents must attend a one day retreat sponsored by the parish.

3. A donation of $300 to cover the cost of the retreat and the use of the church.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio de penitencia el jueves, 2 de marzo, a las 6:30pm en la iglesia Santa Teresa en Edcouch. Los niños que se preparan para su primera confesión deben asistir junto con sus padres.

Reunión para Jóvenes Candidatos a
la Confirmación y sus Padres

Habrá una reunión para todos los Jóvenes Candidatos a la Confirmación y sus padres el jueves 9 de marzo a las 6:30 p. m. en el salón parroquial de Edcouch. El retiro de Confirmación se discutirá junto con su próxima recaudación de fondos.

Quinceañera's

Cualquier joven que esté planeando celebrar su Quinceañera en Santa Teresa o Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe debe registrarse con la secretaria parroquial en la oficina un año antes de la celebración. Otros requisitos para una quinceañera son:

1. La Familia de la Quinceañera debe ser feligreses registrados o vivir dentro de los límites de la parroquia de Santa Teresa y / o Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.

2. La Quinceañera y sus padres deben asistir a un retiro de un día patrocinado por la parroquia.

3. Una donación de $ 300 para cubrir el costo del retiro y el uso de la iglesia.
