Classes are held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

Due to the Construction at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall in La Villa, all Faith Formation Classes for children and youth from La Villa will be held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

Family Rosary Night

Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Advent Retreat

All students enrolled in Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation classes are required to attend the Advent Retreat on Saturday, November 22, from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM at the Parish Hall in Edcouch. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Following the retreat, students will participate in the 5:00 PM Mass at St. Theresa Church in Edcouch.

Faith Formation Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive

We kindly invite all parishioners to contribute non-perishable food items to our annual Faith Formation Thanksgiving Food Drive. These donations will help prepare Thanksgiving baskets for families in need within our community. Donations may be placed in the designated boxes at the entrance of the church or dropped off at the Parish Office. Faith Formation students are encouraged to bring at least one canned food item to each class throughout the month of November. Your generosity and support are deeply appreciated as we come together to share God's love through service.

Colecta de Alimentos Enlatados Formación en la Fe para el Día de Acción de Gracias

Invitamos cordialmente a todos los feligreses a contribuir con alimentos no perecederos a nuestra colecta anual de alimentos organizada por el programa de Formación en la Fe con motivo del Día de Acción de Gracias. Estas donaciones se utilizarán para preparar canastas de alimentos que serán distribuidas a familias necesitadas dentro de nuestra comunidad. Las donaciones pueden colocarse en las cajas designadas en la entrada de la iglesia o entregarse en la Oficina Parroquial. Se pide a los estudiantes de Formación en la Fe que traigan al menos un alimento enlatado a cada clase durante el mes de noviembre. Agradecemos profundamente su generosidad y apoyo mientras nos unimos para compartir el amor de Dios a través del servicio.

Confirmation Service Project

Confirmation students from the St. Theresa and Our Lady of Guadalupe communities are asked to gather with their parents on Tuesday, November 25th at 5:00 PM in the St. Theresa Church parking lot. During this service project, families will be assigned recipients in need of a Thanksgiving food basket. Together, the youth and their parents will personally deliver the baskets to the designated households. This outreach effort is a meaningful opportunity for students to live out their faith through service and compassion.

Proyecto de Servicio de Confirmación

Se solicita a los estudiantes de Confirmación de las comunidades de St. Theresa y Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe que se reúnan con sus padres el martes 25 de noviembre a las 5:00 p.m. en el  estacionamiento de la iglesia St. Theresa. Durante este proyecto de servicio, se asignarán familias que necesiten una canasta de alimentos para el Día de Acción de Gracias. Los jóvenes, junto con sus padres, entregarán personalmente las canastas a los hogares designados. Esta iniciativa representa una valiosa oportunidad para que los estudiantes vivan su fe a través del servicio y la compasión.

Quinceañera Registration Notice

Any young lady planning to celebrate a Quinceañera during the 2025–2026 school year must register at the Faith Formation Office prior to the start of Faith Formation classes in September. During the registration process, Sister Maria Sanchez will provide a detailed overview of the guidelines and requirements for celebrating a Quinceañera within our parish and mission communities.

Toda joven que planee celebrar su Quinceañera durante el año escolar 2025–2026 deberá registrarse en la Oficina de Formación en la Fe antes del inicio de las clases de Formación en la Fe en septiembre. Durante el proceso de inscripción, la Hermana María Sánchez explicará detalladamente los requisitos para celebrar una Quinceañera en nuestra parroquia y misión.
