Infant Baptism Registration and Formation Class

Our next celebration of Infant Baptisms will be held on Saturday, January 31, at St. Theresa Church at 10am. The final day to register is Wednesday, January 21, by 12:30 p.m. A birth certificate for each child is required at the time of registration, along with a $20 donation per child. The Baptism Formation Class will take place on Thursday, January 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall in Edcouch. Both parents and godparents are required to attend this instructional session.

Registro de Bautismo de Infantes y Clase de Formación

Nuestra próxima celebración de bautismos de infantes se llevará a cabo el sábado 31 de enero en la Iglesia de Santa Teresa. El último día para registrarse es el miércoles 21 de enero a las 12:30 p.m. Se requiere el acta de nacimiento de cada niño al momento de la inscripción, junto con una donación de $20 por niño. La clase de formación para el Bautismo será el jueves 22 de enero a las 6:30 p.m. en el salón parroquial de Edcouch. Se requiere la asistencia de ambos padres y padrinos.

Adult Confirmation Classes

Adult Confirmation classes are scheduled to begin this coming Wednesday, January 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Religious Education Building in Edcouch. Only those who register ahead of time will be accepted into class.

Confirmation Retreat Team Planning Meeting

There will be a meeting one Wednesday, Jan. 28th at 6:30pm in Sr. Maria's Office for those serving on the Confirmation Retreat team.

Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Students

As part of their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, all Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Students are required to participate in the Parish Youth Group gatherings on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm– 7:30pm at the Parish Hall in Edcouch. These evenings offer a valuable opportunity for faith formation, fellowship, and building community among our youth as we journey together toward Confirmation.

(Middle School & High School Students from Edcouch and La Villa)

Classes are held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

Due to the Construction at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall in La Villa, all Faith Formation Classes for children and youth from La Villa will be held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Students

Quinceañera Registration Notice

Any young lady planning to celebrate a Quinceañera during the 2025–2026 school year must register at the Faith Formation Office prior to the start of Faith Formation classes in September. During the registration process, Sister Maria Sanchez will provide a detailed overview of the guidelines and requirements for celebrating a Quinceañera within our parish and mission communities.

Toda joven que planee celebrar su Quinceañera durante el año escolar 2025–2026 deberá registrarse en la Oficina de Formación en la Fe antes del inicio de las clases de Formación en la Fe en septiembre. Durante el proceso de inscripción, la Hermana María Sánchez explicará detalladamente los requisitos para celebrar una Quinceañera en nuestra parroquia y misión.
