Adult Confirmation Classes

The Adult Confirmation Classes are being held in the Religious Education Building at 6:30pm on the following dates: February 4, 11, 18, 25; March 4, 11, and 18. Registration is now closed.

Las clases de Confirmación para Adultos se llevan a cabo en el Edificio de Educación Religiosa a las 6:30pm en las siguientes fechas: 4, 11, 18 y 25 de febrero; 4, 11 y 18 de marzo. La inscripción ya está cerrada.

Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Students

As part of their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, all Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Students are required to participate in the Parish Youth Group gatherings on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm– 7:30pm at the Parish Hall in Edcouch. These evenings offer a valuable opportunity for faith formation, fellowship, and building community among our youth as we journey together toward Confirmation.

Classes are held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

Due to the Construction at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall in La Villa, all Faith Formation Classes for children and youth from La Villa will be held at the St. Theresa Religious Education Building in Edcouch.

High School Confirmation Retreat

The Confirmation Retreat will be held the weekend of February 6–8 at Camp Loma de Vida, located north of Edinburg. All participating youth are asked to submit their permission slips no later than Friday, January 30. Participants should arrive at the St. Theresa Parish Hall by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 6. Please bring all necessary items for the weekend, including clothing, toiletries, bed sheets, blankets, and any other personal essentials. We encourage everyone to check the weather forecast in advance to ensure appropriate packing. Transportation will be provided to and from the retreat center.

Retiro de Confirmación

El Retiro de Confirmación se llevará a cabo del 6 al 8 de febrero en Camp Loma de Vida, ubicado al norte de Edinburg. Se les pide a todos los jóvenes participantes que entreguen sus hojas de permiso a más tardar el viernes, 30 de enero. Los participantes deberán presentarse en el Salón Parroquial de Santa Teresa a las 4:30 p.m. el viernes, 6 de febrero. Por favor traigan todos los artículos necesarios para el fin de semana, incluyendo ropa, artículos de higiene personal, sábanas, cobijas y cualquier otra necesidad personal. First Reconciliation Service

Children and youth preparing for the Sacrament of Penance are asked to attend the Reconciliation Service on Friday, February 20th, at 6:00 PM at St. Theresa Church. We also encourage parents and siblings to join us in support of their child or sibling as they continue their faith formation journey. Your presence helps create a meaningful and supportive experience for those receiving the Sacrament.

Servicio de Primer Reconciliación

Se pide a los niños y jóvenes que se están preparando para el Sacramento de la Penitencia que asistan al Servicio de Reconciliación el viernes 20 de febrero a las 6:00 PM en la Iglesia de Santa Teresa. También animamos a los padres y hermanos a acompañarnos para apoyar a su hijo o hermano mientras continúan su camino de formación en la fe. Su presencia ayuda a crear una experiencia significativa y de apoyo para quienes recibirán el Sacramento.

Quinceañera Registration Notice

Any young lady planning to celebrate a Quinceañera during the 2025–2026 school year must register at the Faith Formation Office prior to the start of Faith Formation classes in September. During the registration process, Sister Maria Sanchez will provide a detailed overview of the guidelines and requirements for celebrating a Quinceañera within our parish and mission communities.

Toda joven que planee celebrar su Quinceañera durante el año escolar 2025–2026 deberá registrarse en la Oficina de Formación en la Fe antes del inicio de las clases de Formación en la Fe en septiembre. Durante el proceso de inscripción, la Hermana María Sánchez explicará detalladamente los requisitos para celebrar una Quinceañera en nuestra parroquia y misión.
