Narcan Training - Donna Knights of Columbus participated in a training to identify an Opioid overdose and take life saving action. Our training was delivered by Donna's Deputy Fire Chief Narciso Escobedo. In addition the Donna Knights being trained the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, a public school teacher and High School student also participated in this Life Saving Training. We were given a very detailed and complete training and explanation what we would encounter in the event of an Opioid overdose. During the training we given various hands on scenario base exercises. The training was only an hour and half long, but within the time we felt that we were fully ready perform those life saving procedures. Additional training is being planned for Mid-March you will notified when the set up.
